Vision capture
How you get here: the + button — this is the capture surface registered at the root of the navigator, so it opens over whichever tab you're on. Requires an account? Yes — guests are asked to sign up first.
What this is
The advanced capture screen: photo and video, live grading, and AI Ultra mode. Where the Plaum camera is a straightforward food camera, this adds recording and AI processing.
Controls

Permissions
Each permission is asked for with a reason, and the reason names what you lose:

| Camera | Camera access required — Turn on camera access in Settings to capture food photos and scan QR codes in Plaum. |
| Microphone | Microphone permission needed — Turn on microphone access in Settings to record video in Plaum. |
| Photo library | Permission required — Turn on photo library access in Settings to save dish cards and enhanced photos in Plaum. |
Note the camera one mentions QR codes as well as photos — one grant covers both, so granting it here also enables table scanning.
