What this is
Reservation settings
Change policy on mobile. Manage incoming requests in the webapp.
The policy side of bookings. There's an explicit split, stated up front:
Incoming reservations Mobile is for changing reservation policy only. Accepting, declining, and reviewing reservation requests must be done in the webapp.
So this screen sets the rules; the web dashboard handles the day-to-day.
Booking policy
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Enable reservations | Turn booking requests on or off for your restaurant. |
| Max party size | Largest group size the booking flow should allow. |
| Slot duration | Must match the slot length used by reservation availability. |
| Cancellation window | How many minutes before the reservation a guest can cancel. |
Fees and deposits
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| No-show fee | Optional fee for missed reservations. |
| Security deposit amount | Charged immediately, held for the reservation, and returned when the guest checks in. |
| Security deposit currency | Currency code shown to guests, for example USD or CAD. |
The deposit is a hold and return, not a charge — that's the difference between it and the no-show fee, and it's worth being clear about with guests.
