Restaurant onboarding
How you get here: after signing up with I run a restaurant on, once you've verified your email and logged in and the account has a restaurant behind it. If Plaum already had a matching listing, claiming it happens first instead — this wizard is really for accounts that ended up creating their own new restaurant rather than claiming an existing one, since a claimed listing typically already has enough profile data to skip straight to the app. Requires an account? A restaurant account.
What this is
Restaurant setup
Build your restaurant presence
A three-step wizard — Step n of 3 — that gets a restaurant to the minimum it needs before real guests see it.
Step 1 — "Show guests what you can do"
We'll walk you through the restaurant capabilities first, then lock in the essentials before finishing up.
Five capability cards, so you know what you're setting up toward:
| Capability | What it means |
|---|---|
| Show up better | A public restaurant profile with brand visuals, hours, and the information diners look for first. |
| Share menu items | Publish dishes so guests can see what the kitchen is actually serving. |
| Take orders | Pickup ordering, checkout, and the infrastructure you need to receive real demand. |
| Run QR dine-in | Let guests scan a table QR and order with table context attached. |
| Measure growth | See profile views, engagement, and conversion signals once you turn the modules on. |
Note the last line: "once you turn the modules on" — capabilities map to subscription modules, and onboarding is honest that they aren't all included by default.
Step 2 — "Lock in the essentials"
This is the minimum operational setup needed before we hand you off to the app and dashboard.

Operational readiness
Self-assessment checks, e.g. I have at least one menu item ready — used to decide what to nudge you about after setup rather than to block you.
Step 3 — "Review and finish"
You're one tap away from a restaurant profile that is ready for real guests.
Finish setup → Finishing... Failure: Could not finish setup — Please try again.
After onboarding
Your account is still reviewed for verification — the sign-up screen says so: "Your restaurant account will be reviewed for verification after sign-up."
